Appearance: Andrew Davis is the epitome of style and fashion; as an icon in Hollywood, his closet is packed with clothes that designers bed for him to wear. When in the ring, he wears tights specially designed for him by Dolce & Gabbanna. Out of the ring, he is either in a Dolce suit or more casual, but equally expensive clothing (it may look like a plain t-shirt, but it is limited edition, always). When not competing, he always wears D&G sunglasses. Always. Gold also happens to be his favorite color, whether it is on his pocket square or around his waist. Strictly appearance wise, he is in his late thirties, although age has treated Davis well in the looks department, leading to more Hollywood opportunities. Andrew is in dynamite shape due to a regulated diet, an exclusive exercise regimen, and assorted vitamins (his body writes his checks, after all). He occasionally wears a knee brace on his left leg, which he broke on the set of his first feature film, “One Million Dollars.” Eyes are brown and hard to read, hair is brown and normally styled with a product you can’t afford. A five o’clock shadow is a common occurrence.

Biography:

The Life of Andrew Davis

Andrew Davis was born in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore, MD in May of 1970. In high school, he excelled at track and football, even though he was discouraged from competing in football due to his lack of size. This drove him to prove the world wrong, a theme that would reappear throughout Andrew’s life. He was able to score an athletic scholarship to University of Oklahoma, which he accepted. However, upon clarification, the scholarship was for track, not football. Despite the perceived insult, Andrew decided to try out, and was able to achieve a position returning kick offs and punts as a walk on. He excelled in football, track, and in the classroom.

The end of college was a tough time for Andrew. Despite his achievements, he couldn’t find work in football or track, mostly attributed to his lack of size. By this time, Andrew had developed a slight “Napoleon Complex,” caused by people who judged him instantly, without taking his impressive resume into account, and shut doors in his face. Fellow Sooner Owen Wilson had caught the wrestling bug, and convinced Andrew to travel to Europe with him. If Andrew hated wrestling, he could head home. If he loved it, he could stay.

Andrew took up Owen on his offer and traveled to Amsterdam, the home of the European Wrestling Federation. After training for a few months with Owen at the EWF’s training facilities, he made his debut as “America Kamikaze” Andrew Davis, tagging with “Old School” Owen Wilson as the comedy heel tag team, the “Old School Heroes.” The team was immensely popular right off the bat, as Owen & Andrew’s humorous cutdowns of their opponents lead to their quick rise through the ranks and captured the EWF Tag Team Championships on multiple occasions. Professional wrestling became Andrew’s true love; it perfectly combined his physical attributes, his size was no longer an issue, and his intelligence and attitude made him a favorite of the fans, whether as a face or heel.

After Owen Wilson suffered an arm injury that would keep him out of the action for a few months, Andrew embarked on a solo career. “Davis Enterprises,” featuring Andrew, Owen, a new bodyguard named Myer for Hire (who would later become Clyde Kennedy), and a manager named Cassie, took the European Wrestling Federation by storm and resulted in Andrew dropping the “American Kamikaze” name and capturing the EWF Intercontinental Title and challenging for the World Title. His successes captured the attention of Shootfire Pro Wrestling, who offered a contract to the “Old School Heroes” in Killzone, their developmental league. Given the option to return home, Andrew and Owen leapt at the chance, bringing their bodyguard Myer for Hire along with them.

“The Old School Heroes” were only in Killzone for a little bit of time before getting called up to the show, and Killzone was closed shortly after. Management placed them as bodyguards for Eric Henry, retitled “The Avante Guard,” a play on the term avant-garde. This began Andrew’s many years in Shootfire Pro, where he has been for ten years.

Time passed. He became a hero. He became a villain. He captured the World Tag Team Titles with Eric Henry (at this point, Owen Wilson had returned to Europe), then the Diamond Championship with Eric Henry (long story, don’t ask). He was the leader of the NRK, then became the chosen champion of Eric War, capturing the World title for the very first time. His feud with AsH became of the stuff of legend, and the “Cruiserweight Icon” gave him the name “Lightweight Legend,” appropriately. He dropped the World title to AsH, then took it back, becoming one of the few two time World Champions in Shootfire’s history, not to mention the owner of the longest World title reign (from August 2004 to January 2006).

He dropped the belt to Larry Gionet at Ringu Faia 2006 and left Shootfire proper, becoming the face of Shootfire Puro, their attempt to penetrate the Japanese wrestling market. It was then that Andrew decided to leave the wrestling business behind and focus on his new career in Hollywood. His first leading role was in the independent film “One Million Dollars,” opposite Nick Stahl. A minor hit, it grossed multiple times it’s miniscule budget, leading Andrew to more work. That was delayed, however, by Andrew breaking his leg in a stunt gone wrong, which led him to wearing a knee brace on his left leg.

He was able to get more work by acting in television shows like “Burn Notice” and “Law & Order,” leading to a leading role opposite Russell Crowe & Ben Affleck in “State of Play,” which released in April of 2009. He has already filmed a part for “Salt,” a thriller starring Angelina Jolie to be released next year. He is on the brink of the A-List, and could have happily ridden off into the sunset, an in demand Hollywood player.

But Shootfire wouldn’t leave him alone. It came to Andrew’s attention that Shootfire had started a Hall of Fame, and that he wasn’t immediately entered. As one of two Grand Slam Champions, he felt that he was overlooked and has dedicated himself to getting into the Hall of Fame. Since returning, he captured the Platinum title and re-established himself as the premier athlete in Shootfire today.

Older. Wiser. Stronger. The Lightweight Legend, the Hollywood Hero, Shootfire’s Savior, Andrew Davis is arguably the most dangerous man in Shootfire today. His quest to enter the Hall of Fame is unstoppable, and he is willing to go to any length to ensure his legacy.

Entrance:

[The lights go out throughout the arena and the song immediately dies.  Slowly, the thumping bass from Kanye West’s “Flashing Lights” echoes from one end of  the crowd to the other.  A wall of light bulbs appears on the SPWTron.  First,  a large “D” appears on the left of the screen]

   D

"Flashing lights, lights"

[Next to the “D,” an “A” appears, pulsing to the beat of the music.]

   D A

"Flashing lights, lights"

   D A V

"Flashing lights, lights"

  D A V I

"Flashing lights, lights"

  D A V I S

[The last letter appears as the crowd is booing to fever pitch!  The light  bulbs brighten, from their regular yellow to a bright, piercing white.  As the lights brighten, the bulbs begin to explode, one at a time at first, then all at once.  As the bulbs explode, the screen washes out, a blinding white!]

"She don't believe in shootin' stars,
But she believe in shoes & cars
Wood floors in the new apartment,
Couture from the store's department"
You more like L'eau de Stardee shit,
I'm more of the, trips to Florida
Order the hors d'oeuvres, views of the Water
Straight from the page of your favorite author"

[At the screen’s brightest, golden fireworks explode from around the edge of the SPWTron, and "D A V I S" reappears on the screen.  Standing underneath the golden letters and fireworks, bathed in golden light, is "The Lightweight  Legend" Andrew Davis.  His right arm straight in the air, Davis is wearing white tights, specially designed for him by Dolce & Gabbana, with the  letters "DAVIS" written down each leg in, naturally, gold. Black boots  with "AD" written in cursive and D&G sunglasses complete the ensemble.
Over his shoulder sits the Shootfire World Heavyweight Championship, buffed to a golden shine.

[HUGE HEEL POP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]

"And the weather so breezy,
Man why can't life always be this easy
She in the mirror dancing so sleazy,
I get a call like where are you Yeezy"
Try to hit you with a 'Oeur de Whopee'
Till I get flashed by the paparazzi
Damn, these nigga's got me,
I hate these nigga's more than the Nazis"

[Andrew Davis slowly pans around the arena, taking in the blistering hate from the fans.  A brace on his right knee reminds of his previously broken leg, and his face reminds that he isn’t the young guy who started making his name in Shootfire.  Older, wiser, brasher, cooler, Shootfire’s second Grand Slam Champion starts to walk down to the ring, "D A V I S" flashing on the SPWTron, causing a minor strobe effect.  Andrew appears on the ramp, disappears, then appears a few feet closer, the gold light reflecting off his D&G sunglasses and the title.]

[CROWD BOOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]

"As I recall I know you love to show off,
But I never thought that you would take it this far-
But what do I know?"
"Flashing lights, lights"
"What do I know?
"Flashing lights, lights"

[Making sure to stay arms length away from the crowd, Andrew walks up the ropes and pauses on the apron, taking in the adoration.  Significantly amused, he steps through the ropes and into the ring.  The SPWTron plays footage from Charity Carnage, Davis hitting the 540 Degree Swanton from the ring to drive a chair through a barbed-wire wrapped Dave Pietka through a broadcast table! Walking to the corner, Davis leaps to the second rope, and holds his arms out as he ducks down low, pointing to himself with both thumbs and telling everyone in Jamaica and watching at home just how great he is!!!]

"As you recall, you know I love to show off
But you never thought that I would take it this far
What do you know?"
"Flashing lights"
"What do you know?"
"Flashing lights, lights"

[Andrew walks around the ring, eyeing the screaming fans, a slight grin on his face, enjoying the reception. Shifting the belt into his hands, he holds it high in the air, the name “ANDREW DAVIS” printed across the front. Davis looks out a the crowd, embracing the anger.]
