SPW is forever looking to elevate their reach to the worldwide stage by working with fellow companies in the industry and networking to bring the Shootfire brand to a wider range of fan bases. From its origins as an underground "cult" style hardcore federation based out of Chicago to a major platform with offices and arenas in New York, Raleigh, Las Vegas, Vancouver Canada and Sapporo Japan, SPW is moving successfully to expand the mainstream potential of the Shootfire Pro Wrestling brand in domestic and international markets. This can be seen in the latest mantra "Good is the enemy of Great" adapted by Gideon Cain to translate exactly what is expected of and projected by all SPW Superstars and talent as we seek to become and remain pioneers, rolemodels and true leaders in all of pro wrestling.

II. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MEN BEHIND THE CURTAIN.

My name is AJ and I am the fedhead of Shootfire Pro.  The Vice President is Dante Franklin and the head booker is Jon Lilwal.  We are here to deliver the best product our roster can offer. I'm here to bounce your ideas off of, throw a few back, but in the long run this is our federation and as this is a very interactive federation we will all have some amount of creative control and input as seen below.  Everyone in the fed also works behind the scenes in some capacity or writes at least one match a month.

III. THE CAST OF CHARACTERS.

Please see the Roster area for an up-to-date roster.  Everyone after making 30 days in the fed will be approved by our Director of Talent Relations, characters offered a Shootfire contract and they will be added to our website page.

IV. WHAT DOES EVERYBODY WANT?
----------------------------------

To develop as a handler. This is for fun, like roleplaying anything for any reason, but also to consistently improve in what we do.  You get what you put in.  We offer competition and character development is a must.  If your character has not developed over a standard amount of time, I'm not doing my job.  You will be expected to coordinate with your fellow handlers to produce effective storylines.  In addition, voting in Shootfire endorsed awards is mandatory.  We also each contribute to the running things, this is a very interactive organization.  As stated, everyone in the fed also works behind the scenes or writes at least one match a month, this increases team spirit, makes for better handlers, and raises appreciation for each other's work.

World Women's Champion
World Tag Team Champions
Fusion Champion (combination technical/jisatsu)

V. OK, I'M INTERESTED. WHEN AND WHERE?

Our Bi-Weekly show is SPW Conquest. We do one PPV every three months to allow maximum buildup for quality matches. Broadcasts are preceded by Off The Chain, a flash show with featured matches. In addition, supercards such as Blood Brothers will be run usually midseason.  To join the Shootfire: Violent Ascension mailing list go to the message board.

VI. BEAT ME IF YOU CAN, SURVIVE, IF I LET YOU.

Match outcomes will be be decided based upon Mgmt's discretion.

EVERYONE suffers a loss now and then but never forget that it is for the greater good of telling a proper story. Plus, a good handler knows how to take a loss and make it work for their character.  You have to trust us to do what we do.

You may be asking yourself, what about RPs?  Well the quality of your roleplay/promo will be the determining factor in how far your overall push is determined.  The bigger the push, the more likely you will be involved with better stories and eventually a shot at a title. 

But make no mistake about it;  you need to work to keep your push. It does not matter if you are a newbie or a veteran to this game.  Any mundanity or laziness in your promos will be reflected in your position and match outcome.

One RP is required per match and will be judged accordingly versus your opponent's. This can be done as a flash, interview, in-ring or on-card segment, jointer segment with another character, news article, montage set to a song, etc... I've even seen MySpace blogs in the past.  Aside from this you may further your storytelling by posting to the Shootfire 24/7 section of the SPW website anytime between card releases.   While you may do more than one, only one roleplay will be officially counted towards your match.

Strats are not required but they do the make your character's storyline portrayal accurate and are appreciated.
